Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has vowed not to allow the emergence of a Palestinian state controlled by Iran while he remains in office.

Netanyahu made the declaration in a post on X, where he said neither Gaza nor Judea and Samaria would become a Palestinian state under Iranian control.

The Israeli leader also claimed that the alleged alliance between the Muslim Brotherhood and elements of Israel’s political opposition had been exposed.

“As long as I am Prime Minister, no Palestinian state controlled by Iran will arise, not in Gaza, not in Judea and Samaria. Period,” Netanyahu wrote.

He further criticised what he described as a left-wing coalition involving the Muslim Brotherhood, accusing its political partners of boycotting supporters of his Likud party while allegedly promoting individuals associated with Arab political groups.

Netanyahu specifically mentioned Israeli politicians Eizenkot, Lieberman and Tropper, alleging that they were aligned with supporters of Ahmad Tibi and Balad.

His comments come amid continued political and security tensions surrounding the future of Gaza, the West Bank and the possibility of Palestinian statehood.

Netanyahu has consistently opposed the creation of a Palestinian state under conditions he believes could threaten Israel’s security, while the Palestinian leadership and many international actors continue to support a two-state solution.
