Nigerian street-pop singer Seyi Vibez has deleted his posts about celebrity chef Hilda Baci following her threat to take legal action against him.

The development came hours after Hilda issued a warning to the singer over what she described as defamatory posts.

In the letter, Hilda demanded that Seyi Vibez remove the posts and issue a public apology or face legal action.

A check by DAILY POST later confirmed that the singer had deleted the posts, although he has yet to issue the demanded apology.

Hilda’s warning followed Seyi Vibez’s decision to involve her in his dispute with Dapper Music over an alleged ₦1 billion missing catalogue funds.

Seyi Vibez was signed to Dapper Music, a record label owned by Hilda’s boyfriend, Damilola Akinwunmi, in 2022.

However, the singer parted ways with the label in September 2024 and subsequently changed his social media bio to “Independent artist.”
