The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced that the ongoing recruitment exercise for Nigeria’s four paramilitary services will be concluded within the next four weeks.

The update was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Board’s Secretary, Maj-Gen AM Jibril (retd.).

The announcement comes amid growing anticipation among applicants awaiting the conclusion of the recruitment process.

The Board said it was aware of the high level of expectation surrounding the exercise, noting that the large number of applications received from across the country had placed a responsibility on it to ensure a fair and transparent selection process.

According to the CDCFIB, the recruitment exercise has reached its final stages, but the process will not be rushed at the expense of due process.

The Board said the remaining stages would be completed within four weeks, after which successful candidates would be notified through the official recruitment platform.

It stressed that the recruitment process would be guided by the principles of justice, merit, federal character, due process and the operational requirements of the four services.

The Board urged applicants to await official communication through the recruitment platform once the exercise is concluded.
