The grassroots mobilization structure of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, G24, today inaugurated its Enugu State Executive in a grand ceremony held in Enugu, with a firm vow to deliver the state to ADC in the 2027 general elections.
The event, which drew party leaders, stakeholders and thousands of supporters, was chaired by the DG Ochoudo 2027 Campaign Organization, Hon. Walter Oji and inaugurated by Sir. Bon Unachukwu Zonal Vice Chairman, ADC South East_.
Sir. Bon was represented by Hon. Dr. Maurice Edeh – Iyala House of Representatives Candidate, Enugu North and South Federal Constituency.
The inauguration had in attendance the who-is-who of ADC leadership at both National and State levels:
- Chief Ocho Obodoeze – Grand Patron, G24 & Gubernatorial Candidate, ADC Enugu State 2027
- Dr. Ekene Onwuka – Representative of H.E Atiku Abubakar, SA on Special Duties
- Hon. Anie Gift – Representative of Her Excellency Titi Abubakar, Wife of ADC Presidential Candidate
- Omega Odunze – SA to Atiku Abubakar on Community Mobilization, South East
- Sir. Bon Unachukwu – Zonal Vice Chairman, ADC South East
- Comr. AC Ude – Founder, G24 ADC for AA/OCHOUDO 2027 & State Caretaker Secretary, ADC Enugu
Also present were all newly inaugurated G24 State, LGA, Ward and Polling Unit Executives from the 17 LGAs of Enugu State, party faithfuls, and members of the press.
Speaking at the event, the State Coordinator of G24, Hon. Paul Anigbogu, said G24 was structured after the PDM model to take ADC to the grassroots.
“G24 means 24 Executives at every level. From State to LGA, to Ward, to Polling Unit. No community will be left out. No vote will be wasted,” Hon. Anigbogu declared.
He outlined the 5-point mandate of G24:
Sensitization, Mobilization for PVC, Canvassing for ATIKU/AMACHI & OCHOUDO 2027, Securing of election materials, and Defense of votes.
In his keynote, Grand Patron Chief Ocho Obodoeze charged members to be disciplined and visible, while Comr. AC Ude described G24 as “the umbrella where all ADC support groups will collide and become one body.”
Also speaking, Comr. AC Ude State secretary ADC described G24 as “the umbrella under which all ADC support groups will unite as one body.”
He further charged every executive to understand that the success of the movement begins at the polling unit.
According to him, the core mandate of the G24 structure from the State, LGA, Ward, down to the Polling Unit Executives is to know their polling units, mobilize effectively, deliver victory at their polling units, protect every vote, and closely monitor the electoral process from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), through the airport where applicable, to the local government headquarters and finally to the polling units.
“Our mandate is to know our polling unit, deliver our polling unit, protect our votes, and ensure every vote counts”.
Sir. Bon Unachukwu and Other National leaders assured the crowd that the National ADC leadership is fully behind Enugu State to produce both the Governor and deliver massive votes for Atiku/Amachi 2027.
THE CHARGE
The newly inaugurated executives were charged to begin work immediately across the 260 wards and 3,257 polling units in Enugu State.
The event ended with a thunderous chant
