OKOLO HAILS MBAH’S DEVELOPMENT AGENDA

Addressing residents and stakeholders, Chairman Uchenna Joseph Okolo commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for what he described as exceptional leadership and commitment to the development and wellbeing of the people of Owelli and Enugu State.

Okolo reaffirmed his administration’s support for Governor Mbah, describing the governor’s administration as strongly committed to development across the state.

He particularly pointed to development initiatives in Owelli, including the Smart School, borehole projects and appointments of indigenes into government positions, as examples of what he described as the impact of the governor’s development agenda in the area.

According to the chairman, the initiatives provide compelling reasons for continued support for Governor Mbah and the APC.

Okolo said the people of Awgu would continue to identify with the governor’s development agenda and support efforts aimed at advancing the state.

He also reaffirmed his commitment to good governance and inclusive development in Awgu, promising that his administration would continue to engage communities, identify their developmental needs and work towards addressing them.

The campaign tour forms part of the APC’s wider grassroots mobilisation strategy across Awgu Local Government Area as the September 26 polls draw closer.

With fresh declarations of support recorded across Enugu-Owelli, Amabor Obodo-Asaa and Owelli Town, political activities are expected to intensify across Awgu as the countdown to the local government elections continues.
