President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has said the administration of President Bola Tinubu has recorded enough achievements to present to Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Akpabio made the statement while highlighting the economic difficulties inherited by the All Progressives Congress administration when it assumed office in 2023.

According to him, as many as 27 states were unable to meet their obligations to workers and pensioners when the Tinubu administration came into power.

The Senate President said the government had implemented measures aimed at addressing the economic challenges and improving the country’s financial position.

His comments come as political parties begin preparations for the 2027 elections, with the performance of the current administration expected to remain a major issue in the campaigns.
