President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, Sunday Dare, has said the President never promised Nigerians an “Eldorado” before assuming office.

Dare made the remark in a Monday post on X while criticising the opposition for its campaign against Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to the presidential aide, the opposition has failed to present original ideas or a clear blueprint, relying instead on criticism of the administration’s policies and achievements.

“President Tinubu did not promise Eldorado in three years. No country solved its challenges in four years. It’s always a journey,” Dare wrote.

He defended the administration’s economic reforms, describing them as bold decisions aimed at rebuilding the country’s economic foundations.

Dare said the government would continue to highlight what it considers the achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda and defend the policies against opposition criticism.

He also accused those seeking political power of having little to offer beyond what he described as a desire for power.

“The opposition continues to attack the successful and bold decisions of President Tinubu. We will continue to point the results out and defend them,” he added.
