Enugu State Governor, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to protecting the lives and property of residents, saying security remains a major priority of his government.
Governor Mbah said that upon assuming office, his administration set out to build an Enugu where residents could live and conduct their activities without fear.
He noted that through deliberate investments, stronger security systems and sustained interventions, the government had continued to strengthen security across the state and create a safer environment for the people.
The governor stated this while reflecting on his recognition at the 19th Africa Security Watch Awards, where he was honoured as African Leader in Governance for Security and Human Development, 2025.
According to him, the award is not only an honour but also a confirmation that the efforts of his administration to improve security and human development are yielding positive results.
He added that the recognition would further motivate his administration to sustain its commitment to making Enugu safer and improving the quality of life of its residents.: Security, Human Development Remain Priority of Enugu Administration
