Governor Peter Mbah has expressed appreciation to women across Enugu State for their active participation and contributions to the success of the 2026 Enugu Women’s August Meeting.

The governor thanked every woman who attended, participated and helped bring the annual gathering to life, describing their energy, cultural displays, laughter, meaningful conversations and spirit of resilience as highlights of the celebration.

He also appreciated partners, guests and everyone who contributed in various ways to making this year’s event memorable.

Mbah described the Enugu woman as remarkable, resilient and deeply connected to the state’s cultural heritage, noting that the celebration provided an opportunity to honour and appreciate their contributions to the community.

He commended the women for their strength, unity and continued commitment to building stronger families and communities, while expressing joy at celebrating them during the August Meeting.
