Producer-turned-singer, Young Jonn, has turned down rapper Blaqbonez’s request for a musical collaboration after revisiting a 2015 social media post in which the rapper appeared to favour producer DJ Coublon over him.
The exchange began after Young Jonn posted that he was looking for five close friends to move and work together.
Reacting to the post, Blaqbonez expressed interest in joining him and collaborating on music.
However, Young Jonn responded by sharing a screenshot of an old 2015 tweet attributed to Blaqbonez, in which the rapper had stated that he preferred DJ Coublon to Young Jonn.
Young Jonn then replied, “Go sing as one with Coublon.”
Blaqbonez subsequently disputed the post, explaining that the tweet was made by his social media handler in 2015.
The exchange has since attracted reactions from fans on social media, with the two artistes’ interaction drawing attention to their past social media history.
