Bandits have reportedly used a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launcher to prepare semolina in their camp, according to a video shared on social media.
The footage was shared on Sunday by conflict reporter and advocate for a safe society, D English Alhaji, via Facebook.
The video purportedly shows the bandits preparing semolina using an RPG launcher, although details surrounding the footage could not be independently verified.
The development comes amid continued insecurity in parts of northern Nigeria, where armed groups have carried out attacks, kidnappings and other criminal activities.
Bandit groups have continued to target rural communities, motorists and travellers in several states, with victims reportedly subjected to abductions, killings and attacks on their livelihoods.
Security agencies have intensified operations against the groups in affected areas, while authorities have repeatedly called for greater cooperation between security forces and local communities to address the insecurity.
