Troops of Sector 4, Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), in collaboration with Rangers and Hybrid Forces in Adamawa State, have arrested four suspected terrorists in Hong Local Government Area.
Security analyst Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a post on X on Thursday, saying the suspects were apprehended during a fighting patrol conducted across several communities in the area.
According to Makama, the operation took place at about 9:30 a.m. on September 29 across Guyeku, Amtasa, Mubang, Zahr and Washim villages.
He said the troops arrested four suspected members of the terrorist group during the patrol.
“The suspects were taken into custody for preliminary investigation and further action,” Makama said.
He added that the operation formed part of ongoing efforts by security forces to dominate the area and curb criminal activities across the state.
According to him, the patrol was also aimed at disrupting terrorist activities, strengthening security around communities within the Sector 4 Area of Operations and enabling residents to carry out their normal activities.
