Under the leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Enugu is deliberately building an economy where MSMEs are not only supported, but connected to the markets and customers they need to grow.
The 2025 Enugu 042 NaijaBrandChick Trade Fair demonstrated that vision in action: 35,222 attendees, 6,033 recorded transactions, over 100 participating businesses, ₦750 million in estimated sales, and 1,000+ jobs supported across the wider value chain. Significantly, over 70% of exhibitors were Enugu-based businesses.
Beyond the numbers, the fair stimulated activity across hospitality, transportation and local services while giving Enugu entrepreneurs unprecedented market exposure.
This is what Governor Mbah’s economic vision looks like in practice: creating markets, growing businesses, supporting jobs and positioning Enugu as a destination for commerce and enterprise.
