Nigerian businessman and social commentator, Prince Isaac Fayose, has criticised President Bola Tinubu over the worsening economic hardship in the country, accusing his administration of lacking a clear strategy to address widespread hunger.

In a video shared on his official Facebook page on Sunday, Fayose reacted to the wedding ceremony of content creators Peller and Jarvis, claiming that the number of people begging for food outside the event exceeded the number of invited guests.

According to him, the situation reflects the growing level of poverty and hunger across the country, with many Nigerians struggling to meet their basic needs.

Fayose also faulted President Tinubu’s recent remark that hunger existed before he was born, arguing that the current economic situation has significantly worsened under the present administration.

He maintained that the government has failed to provide effective economic solutions to ease the hardship facing citizens, adding that many Nigerians are now more focused on survival than expressing their frustrations.

Fayose warned that the rising cost of living and increasing hunger remain major concerns that the government must urgently address.
