Nigerian singer and songwriter Cynthia Ikponmwenosa Morgan, popularly known as Cynthia Morgan, has accused music executive Jude Okoye of manipulating the truth and described him as a “toxic and divisive” individual.
In a series of posts shared on her Instagram page, the singer alleged that Jude Okoye has a history of concealing the truth, claiming she is a firsthand witness to his actions.
Morgan expressed hope that the judiciary would establish the facts in the ongoing dispute, noting that chats and emails had been presented as part of the controversy.
She also criticised Jude Okoye for allegedly suggesting that singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, was “crashing out” because his career was declining. According to Morgan, the claim was misleading, adding that Peter had recently enjoyed success with a trending song.
The singer’s remarks come amid the ongoing public disagreement between Jude Okoye and his former business partner, Peter Okoye.
Cynthia Morgan was signed to Jude Okoye’s Northside Entertainment in 2013. In 2020, she publicly alleged that the recording contract led to the loss of her stage name, royalties, VEVO account and social media accounts, saying the experience left her battling depression after her fallout with the music executive.
