The All Progressives Congress has announced the successful upload of all its governorship, deputy governorship, and State House of Assembly candidates to the Independent National Electoral Commission Candidate Nomination Portal ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, disclosed the development in a statement issued on Friday, describing it as a major milestone in the party’s preparations for the elections.
According to Yilwatda, the APC completed the upload of all 56 governorship and deputy governorship candidates, as well as 1,015 State House of Assembly candidates, achieving full compliance with the nomination process.
He said the accomplishment demonstrates the party’s organisational capacity and readiness for the next stage of the electoral process.
Yilwatda also congratulated party leaders, members, and candidates across the country for the achievement, noting that the APC would now focus on engaging Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He added that the party would continue to promote the achievements of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration as part of its campaign efforts toward the polls.
