The Kano State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects in connection with a shooting incident at a wedding ceremony in the Tudun Yola Quarters of Kano metropolis.
The incident reportedly occurred when one of the suspects opened fire during the wedding ceremony, leaving one person dead and three others injured.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed the arrests on Tuesday.
The injured victims were reportedly taken for medical attention, while the arrested suspects remain in police custody as investigations continue.
The police said efforts are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the shooting and determine the full extent of the suspects’ involvement.
