Controversial social media activist Martins Vincent Otse has urged Nigerians to avoid taking sides in the ongoing dispute involving music star Peter Okoye and his elder brother, Jude Okoye.
Speaking during a live session shared online, VDM said many Nigerians had rushed to support Peter without first hearing the perspectives of Paul Okoye and Jude.
According to him, allowing emotions to influence public opinion could hinder the search for the truth, drawing a comparison with the unresolved circumstances surrounding the death of late singer MohBad.
VDM argued that people should refrain from forming conclusions based on only one side of the story and instead allow all parties involved to present their accounts before making judgments.
His comments have generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users agreeing that everyone deserves a fair hearing, while others maintain that Peter’s allegations should be taken seriously.
The remarks come amid renewed public attention on the long-running Okoye family rift following the release of the latest instalment of Peter Okoye’s revelations, titled “Mr. P Part 8.”
