Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has warned voters in the state that they stand to lose certain benefits if they fail to re-elect President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Soludo gave the warning while addressing some of his supporters in a video, arguing that the state needed the Federal Government’s intervention to address its persistent erosion crisis.

The governor said the scale of erosion affecting Anambra was beyond the capacity of his administration, stressing that federal support was necessary to tackle the problem.

He consequently urged residents to vote for Tinubu in 2027, linking the need for federal intervention to the forthcoming presidential election.

“The erosion happening in Anambra is beyond the state’s capacity. It requires federal intervention, and that is why we need to vote for Tinubu,” Soludo said.

He added, “If we fail to vote for President Tinubu, there will be consequence and you will lose something.”
