Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, has expressed confidence that the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will win the 2027 general election regardless of support from the Igbo community.
Fayose made the statement in a video posted on his official Facebook page on Wednesday.
He also criticised Igbo people supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government, describing such individuals in strong terms.
According to Fayose, apart from the late Biafran leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, no other Igbo politician in the last 40 years has achieved what he believes Obi has achieved.
“Any Igbo man supporting this APC government is a wicked Igbo man,” he said.
He added, “Any Igbo man that does not support Peter Obi is a wicked and jealous Igbo man. You all should know that with or without you, Obi will still win come January 2027.”
